Casa Tarradellas obtains OHSAS 18001 Certificate
Casa Tarradellas has obtained the certificate of its own management system of risk protection in the workplace with the application of the internacional rule OHSAS 18001. Casa Tarradellas becomes one of the first companies in Spain to count on the application of this Standard, confirming the long path of Casa Tarradellas in formation and risk protection at work.
The OHSAS application in Casa Tarradellas is voluntary and according to the Hill to maintain, implement and improve the Management System of Risk Protection at work of the company. The OHSAS 18001 allows evaluation and control of the risks at the workplace, based on an adequate qualification of the critical points that could affect people, whose security has always been a priority at the company.
This way, Casa Tarradellas certifies its system of risk protection via an external company, objective and with international recognition (British Standard Institute), and also declares its conformity with the strict guidelines of this rule.
The OHSAS controls different sectors of the management: prevention policy, risk evalutaion, establishment of the objectives needed to improve constantly, achievement of actions to control the activities and system evaluation.

OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series) is a rule developed by the world pioneer institution in quality services standards, the British Standard Institute, in collaboration with other international important certifying companies. The main objective is to define principles and requirements to audit the Management Systems of Risk protection at workplaces.

Casa Tarradellas also has the EMAS validation (Eco Management and Audit Écheme),a voluntary certificate given to only 3000 companies in the whole world, those that clearly bet on continuous improvement and on an ecological and sustainable environment.
